Summer Vacation at Turkish Riviera

Your summer vacation is just around the corner, finally!
Turkey is well known for its tourist destinations. One of the places you definitely shouldn’t miss – is Mediterranean Sea Cost. Here are some of the suggestions on how to plan your trip along the coast, if you have a flight ticket to Antalya.

Antalya

Antalya airport is just 20-30 mins away from the city center, so the first thing to do is to grab a taxi and go to your B&B. The best areas to stay at are: Konyaalti (district just next to the sea) or Kaleici (old town).
If you’d like to spend your days just near the sea, you should definitely choose one of the hotels in Konyaalti, which is the longest and most well-maintained public beach in Antalya, it stretches for 13 km. This is also the first beach of our destination ✅

If you are more into history and culture, you can plan your stay at Kaleici, which is a great idea to spend 1-2 nights. It has plenty of boutique hotels, located in the buildings built in the 18th century in Ottoman style. You can wander around narrow streets, filled with little shops and cafes, visit antique Hamam and even see the Alladin Mosque.

After Antalya is pretty much explored, it’s time to start your journey along the coast.

RivieraBus Lycian way is a great option for your comfortable ride, as our route covers the main points of interest: Kemer, Çirali/Olimpos, Finike, Kaş, Kaputaş beach or Fethiye. Our rides performing with new Mercedes VIto VIP class up to 6 passengers on board. It is also easy for solo travelers with no need to find co-travelers to share the transfer costs. However, you get same level of comfort with lower price compare to private transfers.

Kemer

As we take off from Antalya center/Konyalati we stop in Kemer, which is a little town, known for its beautiful beaches with crystal-clear waters and stunning views of the Taurus Mountains. It’s surrounded by natural beauty, including lush forests and picturesque waterfalls. Kemer is known and loved with tourists for its all-inclusive resorts and energetic nightlife.

Çirali

Next point of our interest is Çirali – unlike Kemer, you will not find there any large hotels. However it is a charming village, nestled in a quiet valley on the sea surrounded by mountains. If you like to wander, love nature, this is the right place for your vacation. Enjoy the silence of nature and the beautiful beach which is 4 kilometers long. Çirali is also a walking distance from the ancient ruins of Olympos, where you can hike up to.

Finike

If you’d like to take a deep glance into history, we suggest you stop at Finike. There has been a settlement since 3000 BC in the region formerly known as Phoenicus. It was founded as a port city by the Phoenicians in 500 BC. Finike is known as the land of oranges. The district is very famous for its Finike Orange, which is considered one of the most delicious oranges in the world. Finike has a 28 km coastline and one of the longest beaches in the country with its unique beaches, which we couldn’t miss! This place is unique for those who seek peace with nature that has remained intact until today.

Kaş

As we go further, Kaş makes the top of the list of idyllic Turkey beach towns to visit. It has everything you could want in a holiday destination: crystal clear water, stunning scenery, delicious food, and plenty of activities to keep you busy. Whether you’re looking to relax on the beach, explore ancient ruins, or go scuba diving in the Mediterranean Sea, Kaş can offer you all.

Kaputaş beach

Just a 30-min drive from Kaş is one of the most beautiful beaches you’ve ever visited. Kaputaş beach is popular for its unbelievable turquoise blue water and location. RivieraBus offers a 1-hour stop here for you to enjoy the spot!

Fethiye

The final destination and last location of our coastline trip is Fethiye. If you thought that you’ve seen enough, we can assure you that Fethiye has something to offer most sophisticated travelers. Fethiye’s most famous landmark is a brilliant blue inlet of still waters surrounded by sandy and pebble beaches. The nearby town of Oludeniz, which is the Turkish name for the Blue Lagoon — it’s a protected nature reserve and one of the safest places in Turkey to go swimming. Fethiye is the perfect place to try paragliding, hike part of the Lycian way, or simply lay on a beach and soak up the sun and glorious surrounds.

Now, when you’re totally assured that the Mediterranean coast is something worth visiting, you shouldn’t miss any of the spots. All you need to do is: pack your stuff, fly to Antalya, take RivieraBus Lycian way and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

See you on board!
